Caitlin Catts was my doula for the birth of my first child this year, and I recommend her so highly. Her guidance during my pregnancy was so valuable. She was a source of experience and information in our meetings and by phone, and such a pleasant person. I received care through a birth center, and went in feeling prepared. When I was going through back labor, she kept me so grounded in my breathing and sense of calm. After my labor stalled and various factors had us transfer to the hospital, she was the consistent person between my care in both places, and the only one at the hospital (besides my husband) who wasn't a stranger. She made the transfer feel like a blip in the radar, I was so at ease. I transferred by car, and she was in the back with me while my husband drove. We arrived, and she knew exactly how to navigate the front desk and what to say to whom, while my husband was able to keep his focus on me. She was with me the whole way and has been such a friend to me in my recovery and start on motherhood.
