From the moment we met Leanna we knew she was going to the right fit for us. To start off we had an extremely hard time getting anyone healthcare and doula wise to accept us; I was due December 18th as a first time mom. This meant my due date was most likely going to be a holiday. Leanna was so warm and personable. She really got to know us and made us excited about the pregnancy and delivery. She answered so many "first time parents" questions and was flexible with scheduling. Originally we planned for a birthing center, but I was transferred at 40W 5D due to low amniotic fluid. She met us at the hospital and quickly calmed me down to the changing situation. My husband was also nervous and she guided him in the support team as well. Her presence in my 24 hour labor was unparalleled. Her counter pressure technique and mental relaxation ideas were excellent. I delivered a beautiful Christmas baby and truly couldn't have done it without her. My husband and I are so grateful!
