My husband and I wanted a doula for our second pregnancy because we were looking for a more redemptive delivery than how our first went. We were recommended to check out Lemon Grove! So glad we did. Our goal was to try for a VBAC so we wanted an experienced coach like Marissa to help us through it. And naturally plans had to change as our baby was footling breech. Marissa helped us shift our course and mindset to advocate for ourselves as she knew questions to ask and things to say we didn't even know were options. Marissa was able to help us achieve what we wanted and assisted us for a completely different Csection experience. I used the word redemptive earlier and it very much was that. I was able to see my baby in the room right away and even do a bit of skin to skin while having the Csection. Thank you so much Marissa and Lemon Grove for healing that you helped us achieve.
