Shaina was such a vital part of my birth process. Prior to the birth she provided me with so many useful resources. I could reach out to her for anything and she would answer my questions. She also continuously checked in on me as I went 2 weeks past my due date.
My birth ended up moving to the hospital from a home birth. When things weren't progressing and I had to get the epidural it slowed things down even more. Shaina showed up and started moving me in positions that helped me progress over anything else. She was so supportive throughout everything not only for me but for my husband.
Eventually we ended up needing a c section and she did not hesitate to be in the OR supporting the both of us. She captured pictures of us so we will never forget meeting out son. After the surgery she jumped in and immediately helped me breastfeed my son when I was too tired to think about what I learned while being pregnant. If it weren't for her I don't think I would have had such a smooth start to breastfeeding.
Thank you for all of your support before, during, and after our birth! We will definitely love to have you as our doula for future births.
