As a doula myself I had a certain idea for what postpartum support should look like. Having Janet as our postpartum doula was such a relief. She jumped right in and made our home feel manageable again. She cooked for us (and even tried a couple new recipes), kept my pump pieces clean, and made sure my husband and I actually got rest.
She was great with my older two kids. One thing that really stood out was when she held the baby so I could help my son with his homework. That small thing meant a lot. It helped him still feel connected and helped me feel like myself.
Janet has an easygoing, calm presence, great taste in music and was just genuinely good company during a time that can feel really chaotic. She allowed us to bond with our newborn without stressing about everything else that needed doing.
