We worked with Kim as our doula for the birth of our son in June 2022, our daughter in February 2024, and will again for our second daughter in January 2026. The education she provided us, her experience and warm presence, and friendship has been invaluable! In her attendance at our births, she has been such a wealth of knowledge and a supportive hand to hold throughout, and always seems to know what to say. She went with me from the birth center to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning after my son's birth- when my husband and baby weren't allowed to come- so that I could receive a repair for my 3rd degree tear. She remembered that my water hadn't broken when I didn't even remember, and helped me through a few intense contractions before I began pushing with my first daughter. She reminds me to remain present, my face soft, and to open my eyes to meet my baby. Her own birth story with her daughter was beyond inspiring to me and what led me to choose her as our doula in the first place! We love Kim and couldn't imagine birthing without her!
