Talking with her beforehand gave me confidence as my spouse and I thought through which interventions to accept and decline. Her guidance during the birth experience helped me feel safe even when some of my plans did not work out. Her knowledge of which positions help facilitate labor was effective and helpful. My goal was to have a natural birth. With Kristie's help, I was much closer to reaching that goal than during my previous deliveries.
