Liza is an amazing advocate for parents before, during, and after birth. Beforehand, we discussed birth preferences and where we might have said anything would be fine, she encouraged us to think about what we really wanted and valued for the experience.
During labor, she was a steady presence and worked seamlessly with our nurses and medical staff to make sure we had what we needed and we were being heard and understood.
In the postpartum whirlwind, it's easy to be focused on the new baby. We're grateful to Liza for making sure I was getting enough rest and taking care of myself, not just as a parent but as an individual in need of attention and healing.
She's also incredibly observant and proactive. If I was slightly uncomfortable, she was there with a pillow. She was always paying attention to my posture, things I said even in passing. When you're with her, you can tell her full focus is on you and how you are doing.
We were so glad to have her with us through this big change!
