Jacqueline was a wonderful support person to have around throughout my birth. In our first meeting sessions, she went over labor positions, possible hospital interventions, etc., making my husband and I feel more prepared for possibilities that might occcur over the birth process. I was looking for a doula that would provide a calm, supportive presence throughout my labour, and Jacqueline was certainly that! During the birth, she helped me make decisions regarding possible interventions and served as an advocate and mediator between myself and the hospital staff. Her calm and knowledgeable presence became particularly helpful when it became clear that my birth was going to require an unanticipated C-Section.
