Dad's experience: As a dad, I wanted to feel useful and calm during the birth — not just like a bystander. I was hoping Natasha could guide both of us through the process, keep us grounded, and make sure we understood what was happening. I wanted someone who could take the fear and uncertainty out of the unknowns. The best part was how Natasha balanced being calm, confident, and completely tuned in — not just to my partner, but to me, too. She seemed to know exactly what each of us needed at every moment. When the room got stressful, she was the steady voice and presence that helped us both stay centered. She gave me the confidence to show up better for my partner, and that meant everything. Working with Natasha was one of the best decisions we made — hands down.
Mom's experience: During the sessions before birth, Natasha really took the time to get to know my husband and I so she knew how best to support us. We talked through so many birth scenarios so she could understand how we might react and therefore how she could best support. On the day of my labor and delivery, all the prep had definitely paid off. There was only one scenario that arose that we hadn't specifically discussed and when that came, Natasha helped me understand my options and advocated for me. (Doctors were rushing me to deliver the placenta even though I was in a lot of pain - Natasha helped reassure me that I could ask to delay for a bit and give my body a rest). After delivery, Natasha continued to be an amazing support system. I LOVE the time stamped diary she keeps of the day and how she helps you emotionally process the birth. I’ve already started telling all my pregnant friends to find a doula (and Natasha specifically if they live around Worcester)! I truly feel like I got my perfect birth experience because of Natasha.
