We absolutely loved having Ali as a key part of "our village." Ali was like having our most supportive and gentle, and least judgmental friend with us during the post-partum period. She's an NYC mom whose been through it all recently so she was knew what we needed even when we didn't know to ask. She acted as another pair of hands when we needed one with the baby, the dogs, or the house. She offered guidance and advice when we asked. She listened and empathized when we complained. The post partum period was so much easier because we had Ali in our corner.
