I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Chris. From the very beginning, she was a constant source of support and guidance. Her in-person birth intensive was incredibly thorough and empowering, and she was always available by phone in the weeks leading up to my delivery whenever I had questions or needed reassurance.
The week I gave birth, I was feeling pressured to induce even though it wasn’t what I wanted. On the morning of my scheduled induction, Chris calmly walked me through a plan to try to start labor naturally—and within two hours, my water broke. It was honestly amazing.
During labor and delivery, she was everything I could have hoped for. She supported me emotionally and physically, advocated for my wishes, and helped me feel confident in every decision. After my baby arrived, she stayed right there with us, helping with breastfeeding and easing the transition into those overwhelming first hours as new parents. Her follow-up visit at our home was just as invaluable—since this was our first child, we had so many questions, and her reassurance and practical guidance made all the difference.
My husband also found Chris’s support incredibly helpful. There is so much we simply would not have known without her. For us, that knowledge was exactly what we needed—it brought calm into what would otherwise have been a chaotic, overwhelming experience.
I truly cannot imagine our birth without her. Chris is absolutely incredible, and choosing her as our doula was one of the best decisions we made.
