Maria was so wonderful when I gave birth to my daughter. She is extremely knowledgable and so kind during a time in which I had no idea if my husband was going to be able to be with me or not. This is my 3rd baby, and I was amazed at how different the process was vs. my last two without a doula. The experience was so much more personal, and when I needed advocation for a specific wish, or help keeping the birthing process on track the way I needed it to be done, Maria was there for me. She came after our daughter was born to check on us, even with her busy schedule that day, and made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything.
Maria is so understanding and not judgemental at all. She never alienated my husband and helped us share the short period of time he got to be home with me and our baby. He was so happy to meet her and know that she was there for me if he couldn't make it. We both would work with Maria again in a heartbeat if we could, and will be recommending her to anyone we know. She is amazing!
