During labor, she was an absolute rock. Her calm presence, encouragement, and hands-on support were exactly what I needed, and she advocated for me beautifully in the hospital when I was in too much pain or too exhausted to think straight. I felt truly seen, heard, and cared for every step of the way.
I didn't want an epidural but didn't trust myself to follow through once the pain hit - she not only helped me mentally but prepared my body/baby in pregnancy and early labor with movements and exercises to help with pain and get the baby in the right position so birth would go as smooth as possible.
Wish I had the sense to have her for my first and second birth as well and not just my third! Don’t be me, don’t hesitate to get her the first time.
