Laura and her doula partner, Lindsay, were wonderful to work with. They worked as a team from the start and were very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. They both supported me before, during, and after labor. Due to unique circumstances, they were both present on the day of my labor and switched off partway through. Laura ended up attending the majority of my labor and the birth. I was able to reach my goal of giving birth unmedicated with the support of Laura and my husband. I truly don't believe I could have done it without her support! The most helpful aspect was her presence, encouragement/emotional support, physical support (particularly hip squeezes and hot packs during contractions), and knowing that she would advocate for me if the need arose. She took pictures during and after the birth, and she and Lindsay took detailed notes which they shared with us at the postpartum visit. I truly felt cared for by both of them and highly recommend them!
