My experience with Leslie was truly a God send. From being told unexpectedly I would experience a C Section at 39 weeks, to thinking I had lost some semblance of normalcy of what I thought my birthing experience would be she was there. She came to the hospital to be with me when Drs thought I became pre eclampsic due to said news , we talked through how to protect my birth plan as much as possible and advocating for care moving forward.
I felt like I was dumped in the deep end and Leslie helped collect myself before my daughter was born. At the hospital I delivered at I was actually able to have access to my doula ( something I believed was lost since c section ) throughout pre op and actual delivery. She offered peace of mind and a strong anchor for my husband and I as we welcomed our sweet baby girl into the world. I'm forever thankful for my experience.
