We feel very lucky to have gotten to work with Paola—having her and Lorena with us for 10+ weeks after our first daughter was born was a huge help. Before our baby was born, Paola shared a very helpful list of baby essentials, then she also did a home visit to give us advice about how to set up our nursery in the best way and what additional items might be helpful before our daughter was born. She was extremely communicative, and even though our daughter was born almost 2 weeks early, she was at our house the night we came home from the hospital (and she or Lorena were there every night after that). She helped me with lots of things I didn’t even know were a thing—like collecting colostrum to increase the amount of sustenance my baby was getting in the first few days—and was always available via text message when questions came up during the day. Paola also kept an eye out for issues we might need to work on—like when our baby showed a preference for turning her head to one side—and told us what we could do to avoid it becoming a bigger issue. She has a very calm and warm presence that made me very comfortable having her take care of my baby while I was sleeping, and I appreciated how encouraging she was throughout my breastfeeding journey. She was also very prompt and reliable. We would definitely work with Paola again!
