Elsie was amazing! I would recommmend a doula, and I would definitely recommend Elsie to be your doula. She was so helpful throughout the whole process. I didn't know what to expect as this was my first birth, and she was super informative and knowledgeable throughout it all. She answered all my questions, and if she didn't know she did more research and got back to me. She helped me navigate questions with my doctor and figure out my birth "plan" beforehand. While at the hospital, she was so supportive. Elsie helped me with advocating for myself when my brain couldn't, she would ask questions to the nurses and doctors, ask if I understood what something meant, helped me get into positions, and assisted with counter pressure(which felt great). It was a long process & I was so happy she was with us. She wasn't just there for me but my partner too!
