We were matched with Shelby via the Community Health Network Doula program and she was absolutely amazing! This was my second birth and we had had a different doula in the past. Shelby was extremely knowledgable regarding different aspects of birth. In our first video call, she asked questions that made us think about aspects of our birth experience that we had never even thought of. She was highly supportive and provided great guidance when we found out that we had to have an induction. From the moment that she entered the hospital room, we knew that were were in good hands. She supported my husband and me through my unmedicated birth and delivery that included an 18 second shoulder dystocia. She took photos for us, including the only photos I have of myself in labor with 2 different pregnancies. She offered support following the birth and followed up with us a few times to make sure that we had the resources that we needed. I would HIGHLY recommend her and am so grateful for everything that she did for us.
