When I started thinking about my delivery, I had high hopes for having an unmedicated birth. After talking to a few friends who had unmedicated deliveries, they highly recommended getting a doula. My husband was initially skeptical- not even fully sure what a doula was in the very beginning.
When I found Gina- things clicked right away. Gina was warm, inviting and made me feel relaxed. She was super responsive. She was comfortable chatting through phone call, text, or email - her flexibility made communication very easy. Throughout the whole experience she made me feel comfortable and heard. Gina had a great way of reaching out, checking in, and encouraging me to ask for her guidance and support when needed. She provided me and my husband the assurance we needed as first time parents.
Looking back, I can’t imagine having gone through my experience without Gina by my side. I was able to successfully deliver a healthy baby, unmedicated. Gina provided wonderful postpartum support as well. She was willing to visit and provide care when I was facing unexpected medical challenges after delivery. I highly recommend Gina.
