We were blessed to have Sarah as our end-of-life doula for my 93-year-old mother. From the moment she entered our home, she brought an immediate sense of calm, dignity, and genuine compassion. She cared for my mother as if she were her own family. She offered gentle companionship, helped with personal care, brought comfort through touch and presence, and supported us through the emotional and practical parts of the dying process. She listened without judgment, anticipated needs before we could voice them, and held our family together in one of the most painful moments of our lives.
My mother passed at home surrounded by love, and I truly believe her passing was more peaceful because Sarah was with us. She supported not only my mother, but me as her only daughter, as well as her 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her guidance, steadiness, and kindness were invaluable.
