From our intial chat with Meredith we were certain we had met our match! Meredith provided us with much needed knowledge every step of the way. As first time parents we were not very clued in to the various tests/check ins to expect with the OB and getting information along the way from Meredith was super helpful! They came to our house a few times and gave very detailed lessons/ science backed info of what to expect on the big day. Any time throughout my pregnancy that I was experiencing anxiety, pelvic pain, you name it, Meredith was super quick to give recommendations of things to do or experts in the area to reach out to. Fast forward to the day of my contractions and labor starting! I contacted them to let them know and they were very dialed in, checking in on my progression, and then when my anxiety was at a high they ventured over to our home. I can not stress enough how important their presence and knowledge/suggestions were during that time. My labor ended up being 40 hours long and I could not have done it without them. They offered such a comforting presence not only to me but also to my partner. Every few hours letting me know I could change positions and what might work better for the baby to make his way out! Not only was I physically relying on them (grabbing them and hanging during the most painful of contractions), I relied on them as an advocate as I was asked questions and sort of given options, Meredith was always there to clarify and offer insights. They never skipped a beat and they were on top of everything that was going on! Relieving my partner at times (so he could go walk off some of the built up panic he was experiencing). And even now that it is all over, Meredith has checked in and given us some great resources for things we have been concerned about! I truly feel they were instrumental in our experience and can not recommend them more!
