Working with Emilee was such a blessing. Every time I met or talked with her, I felt like I had known her much longer than I actually had. She has such a warm, grounding presence. When my birth plan ended up shifting in a completely different direction and I delivered at the hospital instead of a birth center, she was incredibly supportive and proactive every step of the way. She kept me informed, reassured, and never once made me feel alone in the changes. I tend to be anxious and overthink things, but Emilee really helped lessen those feelings and helped me stay calm. Even though my birth didn’t follow my original plan, it ended up being such a positive, smooth, and safe experience! Having her at my birth made the experience feel more reassuring and peaceful. Now that I’m in the 4th trimester, she continues to be an amazing resource, checking in, offering guidance, and supporting me through this new phase. I’d recommend her to any of my loved ones, and if this weren’t my third and final baby, I would absolutely choose to have her by my side again!
