I can't say enough positive things about about Bria! My husband and I are very particular when it comes to our baby, and we trialed and interviewed at least 6 different postpartum doulas to help us with nights. Ultimately, we realized that positive and specific reviews were the best means to sort through candidates, and that's what led us to Bria.
Bria was only able to be with us for about 2 months, but by the end, she felt like a friend. We are fairly vigilant people, but by the end, it felt like Bria was a friend and part of the family. We were so sad she had previously been booked already by back to back clients for the 4 months following our time with her.
We learned there are many different philosophies to handling nights during our hiring process, but with Bria, our baby loved her and we would hear her "talking" (cooing) with Bria, and Bria also has all the skills that helped all of us get more sleep. The baby seemed to feel safe and happy, and Bria also works fast and has enough experience to move through all the things at night that might keep parents up longer than we would probably like to admit.
I really liked that she has a blend of both personal and professional experience, making her recommendations more practical and helpful rather than only evidence-based or exerpeince-based. We felt comfortable texting her whenever we had questions as well about random things such as bottle nipple size, bottle technique, diaper size, diaper rash recommendations, etc.
We miss her and would gladly hire her again if there comes a time we need to!
