We asked her to join us on our journey for our first pregnancy and she provided so much guidance and support throughout not just the birth process but the entire pregnancy. She was always available to answer questions and provide information to help us make informed decisions. No matter what decision was made she supported us. During the actual birth of our son, she helped us navigate decision making with hospital personnel and her encouragement and experience helped me feel safe and supported while I brought our son into this world. Even after the birth she provided postpartum support and checked in several times. I truly believe my birth experience was made better by her presence.
