I had the pleasure of working with Bonnie as my doula during the pregnancy and birth of my second son earlier this year. From my very first conversation with Bonnie her warmth and breadth of knowledge were apparent, she immediately put me at ease and filled me with the confidence that I could indeed achieve the birth I desired. Bonnie provided excellent support and communication throughout our time together and her prenatal massage was quite literally to die for. Bonnie’s expertise and longstanding connections within the Boston birthing space proved extremely helpful in dealing with a third trimester breech and she was able to assist what would have been an otherwise stressful transfer of care to a new practice to better serve my needs. She always remained calm and optimistic which in turn helped me to remain so as well. During my labor Bonnie arrived prepared and advocated for a calm/peaceful space, she remained at my husband and I’s side and utilized so many different techniques to help move things along. Though there were still unexpected turns in our labor and birth experience, Bonnie’s support allowed me to walk away feeling empowered and to look back fondly over the beautiful natural labor I was able to have. I would 1000% hire Bonnie again without hesitation in the future.
