I had the opportunity to work with Robin for my first pregnancy and the birth of my baby boy, Luke, born this past September. I knew I wanted to do things a little differently from the conventional hospital birth (though there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that option!) and chose to pursue an unmedicated birthing center experience instead.
The best way to describe my birth is intense, and I’m so grateful to have had Robin by my side every step of the way. She was a calming, grounding presence and stepped in seamlessly wherever my husband couldn’t, especially during a transfer to the hospital after what had been the most magical birth. Robin was there to advocate for me, offer a hand to hold during difficult moments, and remind me of what I was capable of.
Despite some post-labor complications, I truly feel I was able to achieve my desired birth experience with Robin’s guidance and support. I wholeheartedly recommend her to first-time mamas and seasoned parents alike.
