Testimonial for Jet City Doulas
As a first-time dad, I'm so happy we had Jet City Doulas as part of our care team. Katie, Jen, and Mariah all individually are fantastically supportive people and excellent doulas, and the combination of each of their areas of specialization makes them a dream team that's hard to beat. Throughout pregnancy they kept us calm and prepared, checking in at regular intervals and helping us know that we were doing everything we wanted to be doing to prepare for the birth and beyond. Plan as we might, we had a long and complicated labor - nearly four days of labor ending in an unplanned C section. Jet City was there for us the whole time. They had to trade off so each of them could get some sleep, and all three doulas had a hand in supporting us through our labor. They helped us stay grounded and keep our values in mind while navigating the complications that arose, and despite the difficult labor my wife and I both feel that we were heard, supported and empowered every step of the way. I can't recommend Jet City highly enough.
