I can’t say enough good things about Elyse. From the very first time we spoke, I knew she was the right doula for me. I chose to have a baby on my own through IUI and wanted someone with real experience and a calm, caring presence — not just a family member. Elyse was actually the first and only doula I interviewed because I immediately felt she was the perfect fit.
She took the time to clearly explain what she does, what to expect, and answered every question I had with patience and warmth. She was easy to reach anytime, day or night, and always made it feel like a friendly relationship rather than something formal. She shared so much helpful information — both in person and through thoughtful emails I could read at my own pace.
During labor, Elyse was gentle, kind, and encouraging. She let me make my own choices, supported me fully, and advocated for me the entire time. She stayed by my side long after she needed to and kept checking in on me and the baby even after we got home.
When I forgot about our postpartum visit, she waited patiently in her car for 45 minutes, left a sweet gift, and offered to reschedule. When the baby and I later visited her, she was so warm and welcoming it felt like visiting an old friend. We talked about everything and even went for a walk together.
Elyse is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. She has a way of making you feel like you’ve known her forever. I’d never consider another doula and would recommend her to anyone — everyone deserves to experience her magic.
