I honestly don’t even know where to begin because my experience with Suzanne was truly life-changing. From the start of my pregnancy, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. She sent so many helpful resources and prepared me for not just labor, but postpartum too. I truly believe one of the biggest reasons my breastfeeding journey has been so successful is because of how calm and confident she helped me feel during pregnancy. I entered postpartum feeling ready and that was because of her.

Something that really stuck with me was something she told me early on: “I think the challenge with you is that you might be afraid to ask for help because you don’t want to bother me you’re not.” She was right. But because she said that, I opened up more and asked questions I normally wouldn’t have. That small moment changed everything and really showed how intuitive, compassionate, and invested she is in my wellbeing.

During labor, I can’t express how grateful I am that she was there. My labor was complicated, but she stayed by my side every step of the way advocating for me, comforting me, and making me feel truly loved. It felt like she was family in that room. When it came time to say goodbye in the hospital, I cried because of how much she had done to make my experience as beautiful as possible.

Even after delivery, she never stopped supporting us. She helped me latch my baby right away and made sure breastfeeding got off to a strong start. She checked in regularly, visited us at home, and answered every single question and always responding with so much care and patience.

Looking back, my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey would not have been the same without her. Suzanne isn’t just a doula - she became family. I’m endlessly thankful for her and everything she did to help fill my journey with love, comfort, and strength.
