My birth experience was made 10 times better with Heather by my side. As this was my first pregnancy, I wanted a doula who could provide knowledge and support to guide me through the birth of my daughter. From our first meeting I knew Heather was the right choice. It was clear that she valued my wishes and took my opinion seriously. If there was a decision I was unsure about, she sent me unbiased resources so that I could make my own informed choices, and happily agreed to whatever I decided. When we arrived at the hospital, she clicked right away with the nurses, and they were able to work together to ensure a healthy and safe birth. Afterwards, we had the head nurse, as well as the doctor, tell us that she was one of the best doulas they had worked with. She was able to get some amazing pictures too, that I look back on and remember my experience fondly.
