Jet City Doulas (each and every one of them) are some of my absolute favorite people on this planet. This was our secondbirth experience with them, and it was every bit as incredible, if not more, since we knew and trusted them even better this time around.
For our first birth, we had Jen, who was without a doubt the most warm, loving, and grounding presence I could have ever envisioned for my birth. I truly wished she could have just moved in with us for those first few weeks with our newborn! While that sadly wasn’t possible, her texts, visits, and endless lactation support got us through that tender transition.
For our second birth, we had the joy of working with Mariah, who built seamlessly off everything we learned the first time, implementing it all like an absolute dream. Mariah was a steady, constant pillar from start to finish: always ready to advocate for us when needed, never pushy, endlessly knowledgeable, and full of quiet strength. She anticipated needs I didn’t even realize we had (even the second time around) and offered such gentle, loving support that made me feel deeply cared for in every way.
Every single interaction with Jet City Doulas—from the prenatal meetings to postpartum check-ins—has been above and beyond. Their team is the epitome of what you could ever hope for in a doula service: compassionate, professional, wise, and genuinely devoted to the families they support.
Even though we’re not planning on having any more children, I want to keep Jet City Doulas in my life forever. Their expertise, warmth, and love have left such an imprint on our family, and I couldn’t recommend them more wholeheartedly.
