My labour and birth was long and had many changes… what started out as a fast progressing home birth turned into a c section after 14 hours of labour in hospital. I couldn’t have done it without the support of Lauren, she was my support person for my C-section and she was steady and calm when I was not.
Lauren is funny, kind, knowledgable and beyond supportive. The tools she also provided me with close to my birth were so helpful, she’s just so prepared with whatever you might need. Although Lauren was there as primarily my support and advocate, she was also great support for my partner. He really clicked with her as well, which was so important. She had resources for him and our prenatal visit before my birth was so helpful for him.
Throughout my pregnancy, labour and postpartum I felt totally supported by Lauren. She did many check ins via text and was constantly offering advice if needed.
I cannot recommend her enough. She was such a huge part of bringing our sweet baby here, and I would absolutely choose her again if we have another child.
