We could not recommend Nikki’s doula services enough. Her 8 hours of childbirth education was thoughtful and straightforward and really put us in the best position to understand what we wanted out of and to embrace our labor and delivery journey. She was available for questions of all kinds and throughout my third trimester after we retained her services and always provided helpful evidence based resources to help guide me. I appreciated that she always gave what felt like objective, unbiased information which really allowed me to feel informed about the decisions I was making and to arrive at them by myself. As far as my husband, he needed some convincing to agree to explore a doula but he was immediately grateful to have Nikki as a resource and on our team. Through the education we got, he really felt empowered to support me through 12 hours of unmedicated labor and through some challenging decisions throughout. Having Nikki there for the unmedicated labor was a godsend. She was calmly but assertively present while also giving my husband space to support me. Her breathing guidance was amazing and I felt so empowered having her there. We are so appreciative of her kind, easy approach and for her role in bringing our baby in to this world.
