I could tell Ropani had a genuine interest and desire to work with pregnant woman and aide them however she can. Also make them feel seen and heard. In addition guide them in the direction to living a healthy lifestyle.
She prioritized her visits and gave me a listening ear while yet still completing her tasks and duties in her profession. She went above and beyond for me as a doula. I say this with confidence, she goes the extra mile in her work and service to pregnant woman and postpartum mothers, which was very important to me being a first time single mom and pregnant female. She gave me comfort in a disorganized time of transition in my life.
I dearly appreciate her service to me and my child, accompaning us in the birthing process, and supporting me menatally, emotionally and physically during labor. Spending the night at the hospital with me, which was cherished by me as someone who is not very close with their family. She was informational and educated me on what to expect and the options I had as a pregnant mother. She supported my autonomy and freedom of speech, she did not try to override my rights or decision making. But instead deepened my understanding of my rights as a mom while supporting me to make the best decisions for me and my child. Her approach was humble and kind, she came alongside me during this emotional and challenging time, with compassion and comprehension which eased my stress. . She is friendly and well informed about her work and duties, if she did not know the answer to a question she looked into it by researching and asking peers.
