I chose to work with Jenn and the jet city team again for my second birth after having a really positive first experience with them. For my first delivery I needed more of the education and advocacy around the actual birth process, which Jenn was present for, and then lots of support with troubleshooting nursing my baby, which Jenn was so great at providing support for. For my second go around, I needed more emotional support and support advocating for myself within the medical industrial complex. I had very healthy modi twins and the team was great about helping me find research to understand all the recommendations my doctors were making and for me to make decisions about what recommendations I wanted to follow. My doctors were not great at providing any explanations about anything so i was really grateful to the team for their access to research and emotional support in what felt like a 9 month emotional labor.
