Words don’t do justice to how highly I recommend Kari. From the moment she came to our house for the first meeting I felt at ease with her calming energy. She continuously reached out during my pregnancy to check in and was an incredible resource for all of my questions. By the time we got to the hospital my labor was in full swing and Kari jumped right in and created a calming environment that made me feel safe and ready to bring my baby into the world. Behind the scenes she was helping my husband best support me during labor, making sure everyone was clear on my birth plan and most importantly ensuring everyone stuck to my birth plan. She supported both me and my husband during labor in a way that helped me feel calm and confident in my ability to birth my baby. There are 1 million other things she did that supported my beautiful birth experience and it wouldn’t have been the same without her ?? if you want to birth with a doula- or even if you’re unsure if you need a doula- you need Kari!
