From the very beginning, Roseanne made me feel calm, prepared, and truly supported. I hired her for my first birth at the recommendation of my sister who hired her for two of her births. I’ll never forget when I was having such painful contractions at the hospital after being induced and when she walked into the room, I burst into tears because I was so relieved she was there. Immediately she got to work with techniques on how to make the contractions more manageable which helped me labor for a few more hours after I felt that I had reached my breaking point - which is what I had hoped to be able to do. She was not only there for me, but she was there for my husband through it all and helped him learn how to best support me through something neither of us had been through before.
She has such a magic touch and a calming presence that made me feel safe and cared for through it all. I honestly don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. I’m so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula who’s both incredibly skilled, has countless years of experience and is genuinely an amazing person who is a pleasure to be around.
