With my third pregnancy, I knew that I did not want to even tow the line of not having Christina with me on my journey. She was the second person to know I was pregnant after my husband. That in itself should tell you about her work and who she is! She was an incredible asset to me during all three of my pregnancy journeys and labors and deliveries. My first was a hospital birth after a transfer from home and my next two babies were born at home. Christina is somebody who I HAVE to have alongside me in bringing my babies into the world.
She is incredibly knowledgeable of the woman's body. Not only just the basics of stretching and taking care of your body along the way but also the impact that her body work had on my second two pregnancies was a huge reason as to why my labor and delivery was a much better experience than my first. I also love that she is always seeking to grow and expand her knowledge on how to best assist her mamas.
I had back labor in two of my three pregnancies, and she was integral in allowing me to navigate that without getting an epidural or any intervention. Her and my husband made an incredible team. She’s a beast and literally held me, carried me, etc when I needed her to. That’s important especially for women like me who experience back labor. You need that and you get that from her! She is prepared physically for anything. Her strength is also contagious which is so needed in those tough moments.
Her peace is also so needed. She continually has met me in the way I needed her to. She is a natural. She is just the best of the best and I tell everyone I know who is pregnant about her! Christina has become part of our family and is truly one of our favorite people! She is my hero. Her grit is insanely impressive and my kids will always be reminded that Christina played a major role in bringing them into this world. You need her on your journey, trust me!
