We met Sienna through our preschool, as she was my son's preschool teacher for a number of years (including throughout some of the COVID years!). She is FANTASTIC with kids and leads with such a calm and confident energy that puts everyone at ease right away (kids and parents, too!). She has seen all kinds of toddler behaviours (includes my son's "very energetic" approach to life lol) and knows how to expertly handle those behaviours with patience, kindness, compassion and confidence. Her values are very much aligned with our family's parenting values: compassion for the child; the importance of the early years in development; allowing for a full spectrum of emotions while holding clear boundaries; seeing the best in each child and allowing those elements to shine through; etc, etc. Sienna has continued to babysit for our family over the years, and it's such a fantastic feeling to go out on a date night, while having full trust and confidence that my kids are in great care!! We come home to happy, regulated, and calm kiddos, which is so so nice!
