I can’t recommend Denise enough! I am confident I wouldn’t have had the wonderful postpartum/4th trimester experience I did without her loving, nurturing, and expert support from the first day home with our newborn and the following 2 months.
My husband and I moved across the country to Seattle in the 3rd trimester expecting our firstborn son, leaving all of our friends and family behind and having a lot of nerves for our high stakes new beginning in a new city. I’m so grateful Denise was the postpartum doula we went with.
The first day home alone with our baby, I was so sleep deprived and feeling completely overwhelmed and underwater - Denise entered our home like an angel and calmed my nerves, and from that moment I knew we were in good hands. Denise became part of the family and we always looked forward to the days she came.
I learned so much from Denise - from changing diapers, soothing techniques, sleeping and wake window suggestions, and more. She was wonderful with my mom when she visited, and was able to lovingly advise us with updated expert suggestions as our boy continued to grow and develop week by week.
Denise was amazing with our son, and cared for him with so much tenderness and love, which we are so grateful for. She also had a beautiful relationship with our dog, who fell in love with Denise and would squeal with delight every time she came!
We will miss Denise dearly and I am so grateful to her for helping create a beautiful, solid foundation for me and my husband to step into parenthood as we begin this beautiful new chapter in our lives.
