It’s hard to find the right words to talk about Paola, because I don’t even know where to begin.
From the moment I shared my pregnancy news, she offered me unwavering support and respected every decision and every request I made. To me, there is nothing more meaningful or admirable than that level of respect and understanding. Every time I needed her, Paola was there — to comfort, to guide, and to encourage me. On the day of the birth, it was no different. At first, I was set on having a C-section, but after countless conversations and much reflection, I changed my mind and realized that a vaginal birth would be the best choice for me and my daughter. During labor, I witnessed her wisdom, calmness, and professionalism in every action. She was by my side the entire time — caring for me, supporting me, communicating with the medical team — and doing it all without ever taking her eyes off me.
After I reached full dilation, it took almost four more hours for my daughter to finally arrive. My husband and I know, deep in our hearts, that it would not have been possible without her — without her presence, her care, and her extraordinary knowledge.
Only God and I know how essential Paola was in making the most beautiful moment of my life possible.After my daughter’s birth, she continued to support us at home, patiently teaching and guiding us. I learned things I never would have known without her. I was able to rest, with complete peace of mind, knowing that my baby was in the best hands.
