Ellen went above and beyond in August as my doula. I had a traumatic emergency C-section with my second baby, so for this baby I knew I wanted a doula to help guide and assist me in trying to have a successful VBAC. From start to finish ellen was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and warm. She made me feel very comfortable with all my decisions and was the best advocate for me. She devised the perfect birth plan for my wishes. She came over and showed me exercises for sciatica, and also let me know certain strategies for preparing for labor. When I went into labor, she was there right away. I can truly say I don't believe I would have had the perfect successful VBAC without her. Her knowledge is unmatched. She advocated for me when my IV was misplaced and hurting, when they were trying to convince me into a repeat C-section and so much more. She helped me with exercises during labor to get baby into position, and was there every step of the way. She was encouraging, and a friend throughout the whole process. I will forever be thankful for everything Ellen did for me as my doula and couldn't recommend her more. She's the best of the best!
