Her visits were filled with encouragement and wisdom, both from her experience and her faith. As a former NICU nurse, she also provided valuable insight as we prepared for our own NICU journey.
During labor, Kristie’s calm, prayerful presence made all the difference. She helped me breathe, focus, and move with intention. She was an advocate, an advisor, and when we faced a tough decision during delivery, she prayed with us and guided us with compassion.
When our baby arrived, Kristie stayed with me during recovery so my husband could be with our baby in NICU - it was such a blessing to have her by my side in one of the most challenging moments of my life. She continued to check-in encourage and support in the days and weeks after.
