We’re so grateful we found Liz! From the very beginning, she made us feel supported, informed, and truly cared for. We found Liz online when searching for a postpartum doula. We were immediately drawn to her values, deep training and experience, and her passion. We also loved the way she brings both traditional practices and a strong commitment to social justice into her work.
Even before our baby arrived, Liz met with us in person and over Zoom to help us prepare and get to know each other. She was always warm, kind, and easy to talk to. She’s relaxed and fun, and she clearly loves what she does.
Once our baby was here, Liz was such a steady, reassuring presence. She answered our endless questions, helped with breastfeeding and pumping, showed us how to sterilize and organize all the baby gear, and made sure we felt confident doing it all on our own. She also pitched right in with diaper changes, laundry, dishes, setting up changing stations, etc. Whatever needed doing, she was there for it.
Liz always let our needs shape the visit. She offered tons of ways she could help, but was also super flexible and tuned into what felt most important that day. Her support made those early weeks with our baby so much smoother and less overwhelming. We truly can’t recommend her enough!
