Testimonial for Priscilla Hsu
My family worked with Priscilla for our postpartum journey and the experience was wonderful. We met her before baby was born where she taught us how to put baby in and out of her car seat, very helpful. Over 4 weeks, we did zuo yue zi, or sitting the month. Priscilla came to our house twice a week in the day and made us traditional meals, and taught us skills like: bathing out daughter, cutting her nails, and how to swaddle. She also helped us get handprints and feet prints (trust me, you'll want as much help as you can) and to take her one month photos by helping soothe and change her.
As a part of the package, you get one night a week where she comes and takes care of the baby while the parents sleep thru a night. She would get my pump parts ready for me and take them when I was done so I never had to leave bed. It was so amazing to get to sleep that we hired her for another night during the week and extended that part out to the first six weeks.
Priscilla is so kind, and so good with babies, while I can't say what her services are like as a birth doula, she does do that as well so I'm sure she's amazing. If you're looking for a post partum doula then I highly recommend working with Priscilla.
