We just had our first baby and Adelaine helped make us more confident and secure in the process with her knowledge and experience. We needed a hosptial birth because of my situation, but we also were hoping for a natural delivery and knew a doula with experience would be vital for this to happen. And as things go with having a "birth plan", it didn't work out the way I had planned. We ended up having a very quick c-section due to unexpected events. So Adelaine was not there at the time of our baby's arrival, but she was there right after and helped with nursing. She also helped talk us through questions and concerns we had in the days leading up to meeting our baby. She has a very sweet and calm, yet strong demeanor which is needed in the delivery room. We would highly recommend her and I hope we get the chance to work with Adelaine again!
