Alyssa was the best doula for our family. Not only did she take the time to listen and HEAR about my prior traumatic birth story, she also gently but knowledgably handled me in my most vulnerable state. She kept my specific needs in mind and REMEMBERED everything I had requested. She safely guided me through a VBAC, and I will forever be grateful to her. I was the last of a string of births that happened in one weekend (hello full moon!) and she made me feel like I was the only patient she had that weekend. She also listened and supported my husband (which was so important to us). She took the time to get to know us, created a relationship with us and that trust was evident during my son's birth. She will always hold a special place in my family. Alyssa is our birthing angel.
