Throughout my pregnancy, Tonya stayed in touch and even met me for coffee so we could connect in person, which was wonderful. Her check-ins before my baby arrived showed how much she genuinely cared about how I was doing.
Her first overnight visit was the night we came home from the hospital, and everything just felt easy. The trust she instills is calming and made for a more restful night, both physically and mentally. Each visit, we’d catch up on how things were going, and her thoughtful insights helped me reframe my mindset when I needed it.
Beyond her emotional support, Tonya helped with laundry and dishes but most importantly kept my almost 3 year old entertained at 6 a.m.! I wholeheartedly recommend her as a postpartum doula to any family who has even the slightest thought of needing a little extra help.
