Working with Shana for my first birth was such a dream! I switched my birth plan and doula late in pregnancy and she was incredibly accommodating in making sure we got in all the pre birth meetings before my birth month. At the meetings she was so present and warm and encouraging. She provided great resources and continued to check in regularly as my due date approached.
I can't imagine doing my birth without Shana. Her calm and grounding presence kept me connected to my body and my baby throughout. She made suggestions about laboring positions when appropriate, and stepped into the background when I needed space to go internal or connect with my husband. After birth she made sure I felt supported breastfeeding and did a home visit to check on me and our new little one. She genuinely cared for our whole little family.
